The Ash Tree's Gift:
The Foundation of Our Philosophy

​For years, this beloved Ash tree in my hometown was a spiritual mentor to me, a constant source of peace and wisdom. I found solace in her company during a difficult time in my life. One autumn afternoon, a freak ice storm hit unexpectedly while she was still in full leaf. The weight of the ice on her leaves made her branches too heavy for her trunk to hold. Throughout the evening and into the night, the gut-wrenching sound of her trunk splitting and branches falling was utterly heartbreaking. This was a turning point for me, a painful echo of the unhealed pain I saw in the world and felt within myself.

The night after her branches fell, an undeniable pull guided me into the cold night. I snuck out to hold her one last time to say goodbye. I knew it was dangerous, but I felt a profound sense of safety. Embracing what was left of her trunk, I could feel her ancient energy flow directly into my heart. During this sacred exchange, I knew that she had become a part of me, a profound and permanent guiding light. The grief of her loss became an ache in the very landscape of my soul, reflecting the hidden wounds I carried.

What followed compounded that pain: a housing chain expanding right next door cut her down and built a house in her place. With her gone, I soon lost the connection I had to the very ground I was living on. I also understood that the same fragility we see in our sacred natural world exists in our own spirits, and that a deep sense of unbelonging is often the result.
​
It was through my own healing—by facing my wounds and re-rooting myself in the Earth's ancient wisdom—that I finally found my purpose. I later learned the spirit of the ash is a living conduit, a world tree that connects all realms of existence, from the roots deep in the earth to the branches reaching for the heavens.
Sacred Earth Academy is my tribute to her; a living testament that even from the deepest loss, new roots can grow. Her memory is the foundation for our Tree of Conscious Evolution philosophy.
I created this academy to be the sanctuary I once searched for. This is a neuro-inclusive, trauma-informed space built for you—for us. My mission is to guide you back to your own innate wisdom, to help you awaken your spirit and transform your unique wiring that is often misunderstood, into your greatest superpower.
